Bruce Buchanan is a Stained Glass Artist from Cleveland, Ohio. He studied Graphic Design and Studio Art at Kent State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Cleveland State University. He exhibited paintings and small assembled sculptures until taking up stained glass in 2000. He has worked with many local glass studios and artists restoring old windows and creating new work. Bruce has been recognized by the Cleveland Restoration Society for his residential work in the Gordon Square Arts District. As an employee of Henninger's Religious Goods in Brook Park, Ohio, he oversaw a six-year window project for St. Paul the Apostle Church in Westerville, Ohio. The project included the conservation of 80 stained glass windows from shuttered Cleveland churches and the creation of 80 new windows to match, including 40 fully painted saint windows. Since 2017, his studio has created and restored stained glass windows for Cleveland's century homes. Bruce Buchanan Design has built a reputation for accessible, modern, artistic work.
