Alameda Cabinet Doors Repair
This client was preparing to list their Lakewood home for sale and needed various repairs made. Four large, impressive cabinet doors had seen better days. I matched the various textures and replaced about twenty pieces. A diamond pane sash window (not pictured) was severely bowed and needed flattened. The beveled entry door and sidelights were in good shape, but their putty had long ago dried and fallen out, so the wind blew right through them. I gave them a good cleaning and applied new linseed oil putty under the leads, making them airtight and structurally stronger for the next fifty years or so.
