New Work and CommissionsThese are the stained glass pieces that I design and build from scratch. They include windows installed in architectural settings like homes or churches as well as autonomous art panels.
Every project is different and has its own unique solution. Some new windows beg to look like they've been around a hundred years while others can be decidedly modern. Some need to obstruct a view and others may have a message to convey. Each one is a design challenge to be solved. So I look to the client and architecture for cues, and I draw from my years of experience with formal stained glass design to craft a solution. I enjoy using bits of salvaged windows in new designs, and am always looking for the most interesting ways to use color. I strive to make new stained glass that has one foot in the traditional past and the other in a joyful, modern present. Whether you're looking for a special gift, an award, or a new window for your home or institution, the conversation starts with meeting to discuss your needs. Email me and we'll get started. Bruce created a window that doesn't look like an historic preservation copy-cat nor does it look too contemporary for the house. It's perfect. |
